About this book
This volume provides comprehensive and authoritative coverage of all the main areas linked to geomagnetic field observation, from instrumentation to methodology, on ground or near-Earth. Efforts are also focused on a 21st century e-Science approach to open access to all geomagnetic data, but also to the data preservation, data discovery, data rescue, and capacity building. Finally, modeling magnetic fields with different internal origins, with their variation in space and time, is an attempt to draw together into one place the traditional work in producing models as IGRF or describing the magnetic anomalies.

0 5/5 Pila - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Watershot Underwater Housing for iPhone 5/5S, Black (Camera) I purchased this for one of my trips to Kauai and wanted underwater pictures from snorkeling and diving trips. There was not one of these for an IPhone 5 on the Island. It came overnight and I have captured some awesome shots of sea turtles, tropical fish and coral. It has worked as well as expected and people can't believe that my photos were taken with an I Phone. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , December 19, 2013

Unbelievable! I, me, worst photographer on the planet, took GREAT underwater pics

I bought my Watershot housing on the Big Island at Oshima's Dive Shop in Kailua-Kona about three weeks ago. I met a professional photographer on a beach there at a picnic table where he was removing his iPhone from the housing. I was fascinated by it immediately as it looked incredibly beefy- which would be the #1 requirement for anything taking my iPhone on a little submarine ride. He, the photographer who was all of maybe 27 years old, gave it a ringing endorsement. He also said that it was $100, which was doable. I had to have one! But I have the iPhone 5, so it cost me the $110 you're seeing here. I only went in twice more and took pics but even that meager usage justified the cost. One thing I will caution you about is the overheating issue that there's very little you can do about it in a watertight case. I just personally felt more comfortable removing it from the housing when I wasn't using it underwater. Probably just being paranoid but that phone got HOT. So purchase this... 5/5 Asradel "Az" (Seattle, WA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Watershot Underwater Housing for iPhone 5/5S, Black (Camera) I bought my Watershot housing on the Big Island at Oshima's Dive Shop in Kailua-Kona about three weeks ago. Great for the occasional underwater shooter

This case was a birthday gift and I must admit to some trepidation when submerging a Canon 5D body and 24-105 lens for the first time. Of course, the instructions advise testing the case first, which I did in the bathtub. It was bone dry inside, so I took the plunge with my camera inside. Here are my first underwater shots taken while snorkeling in the Crystal River of Florida: [...]I set the camera up for "dummy mode" so that I wouldn't have to fiddle with controls. The shutter release was easy to operate. I could not get the zoom ring to turn, but it didn't really matter because wide angle was best for underwater shots anyway. A zoom lens left at wide angle, or a wide angle prime lens would be best. The case seals at two points. A UV coated polycarbonate lens screws on to the case over the camera lens. At the top, you seal the case like a zip-lock baggie, then fold a flap over several times like a dry bag. This seals with velcro. Finally, a large... 4/5 Gary Jean (Alexandria, Virginia) - See all my reviews, January 8, 2009

    Overall Worth It

Overall I was happy with this purchase, as it was a good price for what you are getting. I was happy with the good shots I got underwater and it absolutely protected my camera from the water and other elements. The furthest I went down was 10 feet and I used the casing about 4 times in total during a snorkeling trip.A few drawbacks to this product were:-Too dificult to use a zoom lens underwater. There are holes for your fingers to rotate the lens but it is too hard to do while you are underwater and even if you zoom out the pressure seems to always push the lens back to its lowest zoom. I was using a 70-300mm lens.-If you plan to use flash underwater you really have to figure out the right amount of air in the bag and where the flash will have room to actually get light out of the bag. Its tricky.-Nothing mentions it in any manual, but it is a good idea to use an antifog spray for the housing's UV filter. It will get fogged up imediately without it... 3/5 Joe (NYC, NY) - See all my reviews This review is from: Dicapac USA Inc. You get what you pay for...

Hard shell cases cost thousands of dollars but give you full control. This bag is a little more than a Benjamin, and gives you almost no control over the camera. It is hard to look through the viewfinder and virtually impossible to change any settings. So you'll have to set the camera to P-mode (or "automatic") and hope for the best. Even then you'll have to press the glass window against the lens to prevent vignetting. Dicapac is suggesting the existence of lens adapter rings (which would fix the position of the glass window against the front element) but I have not seen those yet.So, despite all the shortcomings, four stars? Yes, because for a very small amount this bag WILL allow you to use your SLR under water. Although rated for something like 20' I would not try it out that deep, but I felt perfectly safe using it in a pool. Once the sealing is properly closed the camera is perfectly safe and I sense that the recommendation in the manual to test the bag in a... 4/5 Bart Willems (Elmwood Park, New Jersey United States) - See all my reviews, September 2, 2008

    Happy with my purchase

0 5/5 David D. Kay (Austin, TX USA) - See all my reviews, August 30, 2013

Excellent product at an amazing price

I bought this MegaGear case for my new Canon G15, given the positive reviews and great price. After 10 days/24 dives in Ambon, Indonesia, I am happy to report that this product is excellent. I was able to access all the controls on the G15 except for the side wheel, which wasn't a huge problem. The case is solidly manufactured and fits the camera perfectly. I experienced none of the fogging mentioned in another review. Everything worked perfectly. I notice that the price has dropped from $199.99 to $179.99, so it's an even better deal than when I bought it!Perhaps the #1 deciding factor for me was the inclusion of the 67mm threads on the camera barrel. This allows the user to screw on underwater closeup (wet) lenses for macro photography. This is a very puzzling and irritating omission from the Canon branded cases. A Canon case would require the purchase of an additional lens adaptor, costing almost $70. On the MegaGear case, the threads are part of a metal plate at the... 5/5 pdub (chicago, il) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) Trick Piece of Kit

I purchased one of the these for my daughter for underwater iPhone photography. While heavily discounted ($35 as of this writing), it arrived feeling like a $99 purchase. The housing is extremely well built. This is not some zip loc bag gimmick. It is rugged and industrial. It feels like something that you could take on a dive. Overkill for a child? Actually, being so rugged, it's just about perfect for a child. When we first unpacked it, the vacuum in the case made it extremely difficult to open. It required a lot of effort. Once past that, it was smooth sailing. The case comes with o-ring grease and replacement spacers in case you lose one. The latch mechanism is a convincing over center affair.Taking pictures and video us quite easy using the provided piston buttons. You cannot use the touch screen while the phone is in the case. Obama Failed U.S. Buttons

obama, housing, employment, health, failure
Obama has an excuse for every failing that he has brought to American citizens that he is supposed to lead. By every pocketbook measure he has failed to deliver jobs of value (not non-shovel jobs even he laughed at); home values that arent underwater and drowning in a US debt downgrade that occurred on his watch and not a previous President; creation of meaningful and sustainable jobs in the Private Sector that he says 'Is Doing Fine' and 'Moving In The Right Direction'. Join with the milions and millions of unemployed, underemployed and discouraged workers that dont get any political or media attention and say hey Obama 'What About Us'. You have failed U.S miserably.
